Professor Ifiok Otung
University of Bradford – Professor of Space Engineering
Ifiok Otung is a Chartered Engineer, Professor of Space Engineering, and Director of the Bradford-Renduchintala Centre for Space AI, University of Bradford, UK. Formerly Professor of Satellite Communications at the University of South Wales Ifiok established PhD training and research as well as two professionally accredited and highly successful MSc degrees in the subject. He is an award-winning academic with a broad international experience in Scholarship, Teaching, Industrial collaboration, and Research (STIR). Ifiok is Associate Editor of Journal of Engineering, Editor of Advances in Communications Satellite Systems, Technical Program Chair of the International Communications Satellite Systems Conference (ICSSC), Accreditor for the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), and member of the Communication Systems Technical Committee of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). Professor Otung is sole author of several major textbooks used in top universities around the world, such as Oxford, Cambridge and UCL in the UK.
