AMRC Opportunities in Space EVENT April 2022
The global space economy is projected to grow from an estimated £270 billion in 2019 to £490 billion by 2030. In light of this, University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC), Space Hub Yorkshire and the Satellite Applications Catapult, organised this first regional event to showcase Opportunities for Manufacturing in the UK Space Sector. The half day networking event brought together speakers from key players in the space sector including Thales Alenia Space, Satellite Applications Catapult and Reliance Precision, aiming to boost the awareness of opportunities in the space sector for new and existing manufacturing businesses and support the Space economy in the region.
