ESERO Exploring Earth Orbit Data for a sustainable (Stage 2)

This STEM programme will introduce 120 students to the use of ESA Sentinel satellite data for monitoring water bodies, vegetation, and pollution. The project will involve 60 primary school students from Greetland Academy and 60 secondary school students from Halifax Academy, who will use space-based data to analyse environmental conditions and pollution in Calderdale, West Yorkshire.

Space Hub Yorkshire delivers space education, connecting students with real ESA Sentinel satellite data to develop environmental monitoring, digital skills, and awareness of space applications addressing local sustainability challenges in Calderdale.
