The Space Sector Skills Survey 2026 is now open, and all UK space sector organisations are being encouraged to take part. Led by the UK Space Agency and delivered by IFF Research, the survey provides a vital opportunity for employers across the space sector to share their experiences, workforce challenges, and future skills needs.
The findings will help inform government policy, future workforce initiatives, and education programmes that support the continued growth of the UK space sector. Previous surveys have directly influenced the National Space Strategy, the UK Space Strategy 2026, skills investment programmes, and workforce development initiatives that have benefited thousands of people across the sector.
Participating organisations can complete the online survey at a time that suits them, with completion expected to take around 15 minutes. The information provided will contribute to a stronger evidence base for future investment, policy development, and sector-wide skills support.
