ESERO Exploring Earth Orbit Data for a sustainable Future celebration event
The ESERO “Exploring Earth Orbit Data for a Sustainable Future” celebration event showcased how young people can use satellite data to understand and protect our planet. Students shared their learning from the programme, including how Earth observation can support climate action, environmental monitoring, and sustainable decision-making. The event celebrated creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving through space-themed STEM activities, encouraging students to connect classroom science with real-world challenges. It also highlighted the value of partnerships between schools, universities, and the space sector in inspiring future talent and building awareness of how space technologies can benefit society and the environment.
